Happy bday to Charlotte!

Aprovecho esta entrada para felicitar el cumpleaños a una buena amiga mia, Carlota. A partir de ahora la veréis mucho por aquí ya que tenemos muchos proyectos juntas. Así que quedáis avisados ;) Por cierto, seguid mandando preguntas para el video. Voy recopilando las que me enviáis tanto en comentarios como a mi e-mail personal.

Espero que estéis disfrutando mucho de estas fiestas navideñas. Os veré entrado el 2011 con muchísimas cosas nuevas que contaros. Así que, también aprovecho para desearos a todos un Feliz Año Nuevo. Repito: No os olvidéis de enviar vuestras preguntas!

Aún recuerdo la primera vez que me compré el Vogue París, vivía en Madrid y allí era muy fácil de conseguir en cualquier kiosko. Me fui a casa contentísima con mi nueva adquisición y, al llegar, me pasé la noche entera hojeándola. Jamás había visto algo igual. Me enamoré en seguida de todas las editoriales, porque si algo tiene (o tenía) Vogue París es fuerza en sus fotografías. Hoy nos ha llegado la noticia de que Carine Roitfeld renuncia a su puesto de directora en Vogue, después de casi más de 10 años de carrera. Es indudable que bajo el liderazgo de Carine, la revista más famosa del mundo se ha convertido en un referente mundial de moda. Ha otorgado a Vogue París un nuevo enfoque hasta ahora nunca visto en este tipo de publicaciones: mucho más extravagente, atrevido y transgresor. Personalmente, no sé qué ocurrirá con la revista ahora... no dudo en que la dejarán en buenas manos, pero el fin de una era se ha terminado. No hay duda. ¡Buena suerte Carine!

I still remember the first time I bought Vogue Paris magazine, I was living in Madrid and there was very easy to get one at any kiosk. I went home amazingly happy with my new acquisition and, when I arrived, I spent the whole night reading it. I had never seen anything like this. I fell in love with all the editorials, because if something has (or had) Vogue Paris is strength in its photographs. Today we found out that Carine Roitfeld resigned her position as editor-in-chief in Vogue, after nearly 10 years of career. Undoubtedly, under the leadership of Carine, the world's most popular magazine has become a world leader in fashion. Vogue Paris has a new approach that we've never seen before in these kind of publications: more extravagant, daring and transgressive. Personally, I don't know what will happen to Vogue Paris now ... I have no doubt that they're going to left in good hands but it's the end of an era. Good luck Carine!

Fur fur fur fur fur

Al salir de la universidad esta tarde, he pasado por delante del escaparte de unas de mis tiendas preferidas en Barcelona y he visto un abrigo de piel precioso de color blanco marfil. Blackcat ha entrado a preguntar y, en efecto, se trataba de un abrigo de piel de conejo. Tengo que decir que los abrigos de piel verdadera son maravillosos tanto a la vista como al tacto. Aunque el proceso de elaboración de la prenda no lo es tanto, así que desde hace unos años decidí que nunca llevaría abrigos de piel animal. Es una pena ya que podría heredar muchísimos, pero llevarlos iría en contra de mis principios. Los que me conocéis sabéis que soy una súper defensora de los animales. Así que por esta razón he decidido hacer mi entrada de hoy sobre los abrigos de piel. Bajo mi punta de vista, han desbancado por completo a las chaquetas de cuero que tanto hemos llevado últimamente. Un abrigo, chaquetón, chaleco o cuello de piel es, además de muy llevable gracias a su gran variedad, una prenda que tiene la capacidad de vestir por completo todo tu outfit. Y si no me creéis, mirad las siguientes fotografías que he me he permitido el lujo de "robar" de otros blogs. (Supongo que muchos de ellos no serán sintéticos, pero el efecto de poder sobre el outfit es el mismo)

When leaving the university this afternoon, I passed in front the shop window of one of my favorite boutiques in Barcelona and I saw a beautiful fur coat. Blackcat came inside to ask and, as I imagined, it was a rabbit fur coat. I have to say that real fur coats are beautiful to the eye and touch. Although the process of the garment is not that wonderful, so a few years ago, I decided I will never wear animal furs. It's a shame because I could inherit plenty, but wearing them would go against my own principles. Those who know me know I'm a super animal defender. So that is why I decided to make my entry today about fur coats. From my point of view, they have completely supplanted the leather jackets which we have been wearing lately. A fur coat, jacket, vest or neck, besides being very wearable thanks to its variety, is a garment that has the ability to completely dress your whole outfit. And if you do not believe me, look at the following pictures that I've"stole" from other blogs. (I suppose many of them are not synthetic, but the impact on the outfit is the same)...

Qué noche tan divertida dios mío! Supongo que todos los que fuisteis pensáis lo mismo. Andrea y yo disfrutamos de una recorrido de tiendas en pleno Paseo de Gracia desde las 22h hasta medianoche. El ambiente fue increíble: lleno de gente haciendo la ruta de tiendas, copas, música, carpas... y las luces de Navidad por fin encendidas! Inmejorable, de verdad. Se agradece muchísimo que se realicen este tipo de eventos en Barcelona y no sólo en la capital. Ayuda mucho a ver la ciudad condal desde otra perspectiva y a posicionarla de una buenísima manera dentro del mundo de la moda y las compras. Os dejo aquí unas cuantas fotografías que pude tomar entre tienda y tienda. Los maravillosos bolsos de Furla - azul y rosa - nos enamoraron y Andrea no dudó en comprarse el suyo! El azul me espera en casa por Navidad, o eso espero :) Espero que os gusten! Por cierto, no os olvidéis de ir dejando vuestras preguntas! Mil besos y que paséis un feliz puente. So much fun yesterday night! It was great! My friend Andrea and I enjoyed a tour of shops in Paseo de Gracia until midnight. The atmosphere was incredible: full of people doing the shopping route, drinks, music, tents... and finally Xmas lights on! Excellent, really. This type of events are perfect for Barcelona, it really helps to see the city from another perspective and place it in a very good way in the world of fashion and shopping. I leave you here a few photos I could take between shop and shop. The wonderful Furla bags - dark blue and pink - are the ones that we fell in love with and Andrea didn't hesitate to buy hers! El tema del video al final ha ganado por mayoría, así que ya sabéis! Ahora sólo tenéis que proponer algunas preguntas que contestaré el día de la grabación. De todas las preguntas recibidas se escogerán las 10 mejores y más interesantes. El día 17 de Diciembre es la fecha límite. Eso quiere decir que tenéis dos semanas para proponer cuestiones que queréis que os conteste. Por otra parte, esta noche salimos a celebrar el millón por Paseo de Gracia. La primera edición de The Shopping Night ha llegado a Barcelona y no me la pienso perder. Vosotros tampoco, supongo. Nos vemos allí! Hasta mañana!

Of all the questions recieved only 10 will be chosen, the best ones and the most interesting.On December 17 is the deadline. That means that you have two weeks to propose some issues that you guys want me to answer. On the other hand, tonight we celebrate the one million visits in Paseo de Gracia.
